President and Chief Executive Officer
As President and Chief Executive Officer, Mr. Horton is responsible for the operations management of 29 HOAs at 28 resorts in three countries and 11 states. With more than $375 million in assets under management, PHM oversees $75 million in annual HOA budgets and $60 million in rental and other travel related services and products. Prior to PHM, Mr. Horton held operation management positions for Wild Dunes Resort, AmeriSuites, Hampton Inn, Interstate Hotels & Resorts, and Festiva Resorts. Mr. Horton is a Registered Resort Professional, as recognized by the American Resort Development Association (ARDA), a Real Estate Broker and former Board Member for the University of South Carolina College of Hospitality, Retailing and Sport Management Alumni Steering Committee. Mr. Horton has a Bachelor of Science degree in Hotel, Restaurant, and Tourism Management from the University of South Carolina as well as post-graduate certificates from the American Hotel & Lodging Association Institute.

Adept in leading operations at luxury residences, vacation ownership properties, upscale hotels, and resorts, including Hilton, Sheraton, and Crowne Plaza sites. As Senior Vice President for Patton Hospitality Management, David is focused on overseeing all aspects of the Resort Management Division though key performance indicators measuring profitability, experience levels, quality, asset protection, design, resort development and company expansion. A passionate leader with a clear vision and the ability to execute strategies while driving positive results. Notable credentials include LCAM ( Licensed Community Association Manager), RRP (Registered Resort Professional), CMCA (Certified Mangers of Community Associations) and CHA (Certified Hotel Administrator).
